Hey there! I'll be your hype-girl for the day, constantly reminding you how beautiful and unique you are.
My name is Susan Gietka, but most know me as Susan Grace.
I started my photographic journey at 18 while studying dance with a company. I eventually had to quit dancing due to injuries. Years later, I felt lost without a creative outlet. That is, until I picked up the camera again. Photography helped me fill my soul and rediscover who I am. In 2011, I officially launched my business and I have been photographing seniors and dancers ever since! When I love something, I do it 110%. That’s why I create so much more than just senior pictures - I want to make your portrait experience a memory in and of itself because this year only happens once.
- Being in front of the camera is not natural for everyone. (I actually hate being on the other side of the lens!)
- You're looking for a more natural way of posing—you don't want your images to look stiff.
- You might have no idea where you want to go for your session.
- You may be worried and overwhelmed about what to wear, or how your hair and makeup will look.
Rest assured, you don't have to worry about any of those concerns with me. As a parent who has gone through this process three times with my own children, I understand the importance of meeting deadlines and making the most of this opportunity. That's why I start with a Zoom call to answer all your questions before the session. I provide helpful resources and guides to prepare for the shoot, and we collaborate on a Pinterest board to bring your vision to life. On the day of the shoot, I offer posing tips and boost your confidence in front of the camera as needed.

more about me
Aside from my husband, Steve, my other soulmate is my Aussie doodle, Stella. I swear we have known each other in another lifetime.
I am a wife and a mother of 3. We love exploring and hiking together. The best trip we ever took was exploring Olympic National Park (we hiked 28 miles of trails in 3 days) and Northern California Redwood Territory (another 29 miles in 3 days). Our family motto is to soak in as much fun as we can in the time we have. Life is short, live it up!
If I'm not out adventuring with my family and Stella, you can likely find me at home with my fluffy cat, Luna.
