The perfect photoshoot starts with planning. Regardless of the session you choose, we start with a planning, style and design consult prior to your actual session.
Before you ever step in front of my lens, we will work together to choose your locations, chat about your personal style, and design your dream photoshoot. We will talk about what you like (and what you don't!) so we can tailor your session perfectly for you.
It's my goal to give you the most amazing pictures possible. I love creating a fun photoshoot experience and capturing your personality through your images. No cookie cutter photoshoots here – you deserve portraits as unique as you are!

Once you book with me I will send you a What To Wear Guide, a Skin and Nail Guide and we discuss who will help you with hair and makeup (if you don't have anyone I can recommend excellent stylists). My job is to take the stress out of the planning so that you can just focus on having the best senior portrait session!

Did you know I danced for almost 40 years? I started dancing at age 4 and continued to dance until I was 42 yrs old. What does this mean for you? I will work with you to highlight your strengths during the photo session. When a photographer knows dance technique they can assist the dancer and suggest ways to improve upon the pose so that you can be sure you will love your dance portraits!

Frequently asked questions
My studio is located in Hammonton, New Jersey. Photo sessions can be held anywhere within one and a half hours from my home but feel free to contact me for destination photoshoots. I have done destination photo shoots in Palm Springs, San Diego, Austin Texas, and New Orleans. (Europe, anyone?)!
No worries - that’s my specialty! I have photographed hundreds of seniors and dancers and know exactly how to pose you to look your very best. Plus, I also worked as a dance instructor for many years, so posing dancers is second nature. I will direct you every step of the way, from helping you prepare for your photo shoot to posing you from head to toe. I got your back!
Great question! I definitely recommend having your makeup done professionally before your session. It feels great to be pampered and walk into your photoshoot feeling gorgeous. Even though we don’t do this in our studio, I have a list of stellar salons to recommend. If you fill out the contact form, I’m happy to pass over that list!
Absolutely! Senior portraits are certainly an investment, which is why I offer a variety of session options so you can get exactly what you want. I work one-on-one to design an experience customized to you (and your budget!), and I do also offer payment plans.
Not photogenic? Nonsense! It’s not your job to be “photogenic”. It's my job to help you feel comfortable and beautiful so you can let your walls down and let that gorgeous light shine.
After your session you will be sent an email approximately 2 days with an invitation to book your Session Reveal. During this reveal we will view all the images we created together and you will select your favorites to order. Once. you make your selections, I usually take two weeks to finish editing them and depending on the products you select, your products can be in your hands within 2 weeks! Albums take longer.
I can help you figure this out after our initial Zoom call! I ask lots of questions, like what is your favorite season, do you love nature (beach, flowers) or urban environments, do you prefer fall fashion or summer dresses? Getting to know you in this way will help me suggest locations as well as timing for your session.
I bring a changing tent on location—told you I've got everything covered! ;)
Relax, I got you...I will ask you to sit over there and talk you through everything! I love to capture who you are so I observe how you move. I ask you to walk, spin, laugh, keep moving and you will be having fun and not thinking about posing. Did I mention I was a dancer? I know how the body moves. By the end of the session you will be a pro and moving on your own!
Absolutely! At our Session Design zoom call we will discuss all the options. I will show you locations that I go to, talk about outfit choices for different locations and even send you guides, on how to prep your skin, nails and what to wear!
To secure your session with me, it's best to book early! Sessions tend to fill up quickly, often months in advance, and I often have to turn away seniors who wait until Spring of their graduating year.
