Alex’s senior session in Philadelphia was amazing! I loved spending time with her, her Mom AND her Dad (who was an awesome assistant for the day). We meandered all over Philadelphia during Alex’s Look-Book Senior Session. This year the High School Senior Photography Community (across the nation) nominated me to judge in the coveted Senior Style Guide Hot 100 contest! I loved Alex’s images so much that when I was asked to submit a portfolio of images to be featured in the magazine I included a few of Alex. I was shocked and honored to have Alex’s image grace the cover of the magazine! Go Alex!!!!!
We started her super fun session in the South Street area of Philly. I love this area when a senior loves a colorful vibe.
Alex told me during our zoom session that she wanted to go to a location I have never been too before. I am always up for a challenge and I must say, she rocked this location! I love how she matched her outfit to the tones of the 30th Street Station!
Alex, a dancer from Chez Dance in Turnersville, NJ wanted photos dancing in a dance costume that was important to her so we moved on to that portion of the shoot next 😉
Now for the good part! Here is where we created the image that made the cover of the magazine! Just around the corner of the train station, we stumbled upon this bike rack.
After that went to the last must have location on Alex’s list, a rooftop.
I loved working with Alex and her family so much. We were having so much fun and still had some energy left to play with some fairy lights after dark as we were heading back to the car. I love using fairy lights at the end of the photo session when we are in the city.
