Ava wanted photos to share on her birthday to celebrate turning 17. She decided to brave the cold winter day this past January (32 with a wind chill of 21 degrees-brrrrr) with a photo session in Center City Philadelphia. I loved the outfits we decided on. Choosing what to wear on a cold day for portraits is not easy. As a matter of facts he stylish coats that Ava brought were perfect for adding warmth and style.

Ava was worried about wearing a coat the whole time and not being able to showcase her outfit so we took some photos with it on and others without. I also brought along a set of hand warmers. During the session we took frequent breaks to use them which helped take the chill out of her hands between locations.

Ava was a trouper and never complained about the chill. She rocked this session in record time! We were done in little over an hour. This rising senior is not afraid of a little cold. Ava runs track all year long and is a celebrated track star at Paul VI High School.
