Kaia is a talented senior from Washington Township High School in NJ. I loved that her cheery personality matched the sweet, girlie location she chose for her senior pics. Cape May NJ is a quaint historic town with pastel houses almost as pretty as Kaia! Both of Kaia’s wonderful parents came along on this shoot to help cheer her along. Her father was an awesome lighting assistant, not gonna lie ;).
Senior sessions in Cape May are so beautiful!
I love bringing my High School Seniors for the Lookbook Session to Cape May! Firstly, historical homes are adorable. Secondly, this beach town is known for it’s sunsets on the beach!
Meandering the streets of Cape May allows us to find fun locations to match each seniors’ unique personal style. Kaia’s style is feminine and youthful and I loved how the colors of her outfits are reflected in the colors of the houses in the back round.

Kaia is a very talented dancer who literally grew up at Chez Dance Studio, studying ballet, tap and contemporary. I love that she chose to feature contemporary dance poses on the beach at sunset. Cape May New Jersey is known for their sunsets on the beach. I know it’s cliche but every sunset on the southern tip of New Jersey is unique! Every High School Senior that I am lucky enough to photograph there turns out entirely different! And I am especially lucky when my subject is a talented as this beautiful senior!
Susan is a senior portrait photographer who resides in Hammonton, NJ. Her goal is to showcase the personality of each person in front of her lens.
